Job Requirements:Requirements for this position include the following:

1. Board certification in pediatric anesthesiology, with a minimum of six years of clinical experience in providing anesthesia care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired cardiac diseases
2. A minimum of five years of experiences teaching and training residents and fellows
3. A track record of scholarly activity related to pediatric perioperative medicine, including presentations at national meetings and publications in peer-reviewed journals
4. Must have or be eligible for a New York State medical license
Job Description:The Department of Anesthesiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, invites applications to join our specialized pediatric cardiac anesthesia team. Faculty members of the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology exclusively provide anesthesia care for all pediatric patients from newborns to 20-year-olds.
Teaching interest is expected, and research interest is preferred. Responsibilities will include patient care; supervision and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students; and active participation in Departmental activities.
