New Program Format & Features

The program planners have worked to bring some new features and formats to the program and have reimagined the typical schedule. 

We will end the general sessions early to allow you the flexibility to attend optional Workshops, Seminars, PBLDs, Round Tables, or Committee/SIG meetings – or take the afternoon to visit Disneyland with your family.

AFTERNOON OPTIONAL ACTIVITES
In the afternoons, you will have several options after the main program ends on both Friday and Saturday (separate registration required):

- Workshops (in-person only)
- Problem Based Learning Discussions (in-person only)
- Expert Round Table Sessions (in-person only)
- Seminars (NEW – AVAILABLE VIRTUAL OR IN-PERSON)

ON-DEMAND SESSIONS
For those of you who don’t want to attend the optional activities in the afternoon – or want an afternoon to spend time with your family – we will have additional on-demand, pre-recorded sessions available for all attendees to subsidize your CME Credits. There will be four on-demand sessions available for you to view during the meeting, or when you get home from the meeting. The on-demand content is included with your main registration.

COMMITTEE/SIG MEETINGS
Some SPA Committees and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) meetings will also be held on Friday and Saturday afternoons. The meeting schedule will be posted by early February.

We hope these changes allow you to choose your own learning plan for the meeting programming. We look forward to hearing your feedback on the format changes.
