Texas Children’s Hospital is nationally ranked among the nation’s top 2 children’s hospitals for 2022-23 by U.S News & World Report and is the largest children’s hospital system in the nation.  The Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine currently employs over 95 Pediatric Anesthesiologists and many of whom have additional training and board certifications in Pediatrics, Pediatric Critical Care, Pediatric CV Anesthesiology, Obstetric Anesthesiology, or Pain Medicine. Completing more than 50,000 anesthetics annually in more than 70 anesthetizing locations, the demand for our ever-growing service is on the rise.  Recruitment efforts for additional Pediatric Anesthesiology physician faculty are underway to support significant growth in the TCH system, including in Houston, and our newest North Austin Campus location.
