Job Description:Duke university medical center located in Durham, North Carolina is looking for a motivated applicant for our ACGME accredited fellowship. One position is available to start 1 July 2027. Duke is a tertiary-care facility and a level 1 American College of Surgeons pediatric trauma center, and has a highly ranked childrenâs heart center, as per the U.S. News & World Report. There are two operating rooms for congenital cardiac surgery, surgery that includes a full spectrum of palliative and corrective congenital cardiac procedures, pediatric heart and lung transplantation, and a wide array of interventional cardiology and cardiac imaging procedures. More than 450 index cardiac cases are performed per annum. The six pediatric cardiac anesthesiology faculty provide one to one supervision of fellows allowing excellent clinical oversight and teaching. The fellowship year includes electives through pediatric cardiac intensive care, perfusion and echocardiography.
