-Associate Professor appointment or eligibility required
-Generally requires a minimum of five years of service at the Assistant Professor rank
-Board certification
Job Description:The Department of Anesthesia at Cincinnati Children's is looking for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist & Researcher-Clinical Faculty-Associate Professor/Professor to lead their Clinical & Translational Research Division. The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment through the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, commensurate with the individual's qualifications & experience.

Key responsibilities for this role are:
-A leader of clinical & translational research within the research arm of the Department of Anesthesia.
-Build existing programs & provide strategic vision for the clinical & translational research portfolio.
-Establish collaborations, enhance career development & provide mentorship opportunities for investigators within the division.
-Conduct their own research & contribute to education.
-Supervise the research coordinators in conjunction with the Clinical Research Manager, Vice Chief for Research and Vice Chief for Pain & Innovation.

As CCHMC continues to expand, clinicians may be asked to work at locations outside of the Burnet Campus.
