Job Description:The Department of Anesthesiology has an opening for a full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the faculty rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology is made up of a multidisciplinary team of highly trained pediatric anesthesia experts who are dedicated to taking care of patients, taking care of each other, and shaping the field of Pediatric Anesthesiology. Clinical The primary clinical site for this position is Children's Hospital Colorado. This 600-bed tertiary care hospital has a level IV NICU, level 1 trauma center. Academic / Research Baseline Academic time for a 1.0 FTE is targeted at 36 days per year. Both traditional and clinical promotion pathways are available. Further, the Department has a robust set of research resources and mentorship opportunities for faculty to take advantage of. Compensation Benchmarked above the 50th percentile for academic pediatric anesthesia practices, base salary ranges from $373,000-$423,000 based on academic rank and experience.
