Job Description:We are seeking a pediatric pain physician to join our team at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, a freestanding, nationally-ranked academic hospital associated with Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Faculty will join the Multidisciplinary Assessment of Pain Clinic, which provides comprehensive interdisciplinary care for youth with chronic pain, with an emphasis on functional restoration. The team currently includes one pain physician, two pain psychologists, two OTs, and two PTs. Faculty will also have their own physician-only clinic to offer additional services, including interventional pain procedures and medication management. Faculty board-certified in pediatric anesthesiology can also join a team of 28 pediatric anesthesiologists, working in a care team model with exceptional fellows, residents, CRNAs, and NPs. Candidates may also join the Acute Pain Service, which provides regional anesthesia and inpatient pain consultations.
