Job Description:The UTMB Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a board-certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist to serve as the Medical Director of Anesthesia at Shriners Children's in Galveston. This academic, leadership-focused role involves roughly 80% clinical duties at Shriners and 20% at UTMB, with responsibilities for mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students. (includes academic/admin time of 20%)

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with Academic rank, experience, and qualifications. Anesthesia faculty can also earn quality and group incentives, late room/additional call pay, retention incremental pay, and development funds.
