Job Description:The University of Florida Health Congenital Heart Center at Shands Hospital is hiring for an open position in pediatric cardiac anesthesiology. UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital has been ranked among the top 10 pediatric cardiology and heart surgery programs in the United States and highest-ranked in Florida for the fifth consecutive year. Our pediatric cardiac anesthesia team provides perioperative care for more than 300 surgical cases and over 500 cardiac catheterization and EP cases annually. We provide care for a wide variety of the most complex cases including VADs and cardiac transplantation – UF’s Congenital Heart Center is the leading pediatric heart transplant center in Florida. We staff all cardiac surgery, catheterization and EP procedures, and consult on all patients with heart disease requiring non-cardiac surgery. Our volume of cases continues to grow, and we are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic physician to join our pediatric cardiac anesthesiology division.
