Job Requirements:The University of Colorado seeks individuals with demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive learning and working environment.  We value the ability to engage effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
o Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado by effective hire date
o ABA Certified or Board Eligible, or possess certification of foreign training that is recognized as equivalent to its diploma by the ABA
o Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship-trained

Preferred Qualifications:
o Board certification in pediatric anesthesiology is highly desirable and expected within two years of employment.
Job Description:The Department of Anesthesiology has an opening for a full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the faculty rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. The Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology comprises a multidisciplinary team of highly trained pediatric anesthesia experts dedicated to caring for patients, supporting one another, and advancing the field of Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Clinical
Primary clinical site for this position is the Children's Hospital Colorado. This 600-bed tertiary care hospital has a level IV NICU, a level 1 trauma center, and is consistently ranked among the top 10 Children's hospitals.

Academic / Research
Baseline Academic time for a 1.0 FTE is targeted at 36 days per year. Both traditional and clinical promotion pathways are available. Further, the Department has a robust set of research resources and mentorship opportunities for faculty to take advantage of.

Compensation
For academic pediatric anesthesia practices, base salary ranges from $373,000-$423,000 based on academic rank and experience. Variable pay opportunities are paid separately.
