The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesiology and demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and academic leadership. Candidates with a substantial track record in clinical education or research may be considered for senior departmental leadership roles. The Section Chief will lead a multidisciplinary team of pediatric anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, and resident physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based perioperative care for pediatric patients undergoing surgery, interventional procedures, imaging, and pain management. The Chief will work closely with the Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations and collaborate with surgical, medical, and nursing teams to optimize patient outcomes. This role also includes a significant academic component, with responsibilities in graduate medical education (GME), undergraduate medical education (UME), and clinical research. The division currently supports one ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship position.
